Dad's Christmas Miracle

By Pat Cook

Connor Murphy wants a go-cart for Christmas in the worst way. And that's how he sets out to get it. Miss McLaughlin, his teacher, really gums up the works by handing out report cards just before vacation. "This is a socks and underwear report card if ever there was one," his best friend Neil tells him. Hysterical situations abound in this loving memory of Yuletide charm back when if you had a dollar it was more money than you knew what to do with; if you had an hour to play, it seemed forever, and the best time in the whole world had to be Christmas. Great fun for the whole family!

Little Footsteps

By Ted Tally

Here is a hilarious and, at the same time, thoughtfully cautionary examination of the promisesand perilsof impending parenthood.  Ben and Joanie, an upwardly mobile couple are about to become parents for the first time. They are redecorating the dining room for use as a nursery, an activity which reinforces Ben's uneasiness about becoming a parent. His fears lead inevitably to dispute and Joanie suddenly finds herself a single parent-to-be. Can Ben and Joanie reconcile, and even more important, will they grow up before their offspring does? We suggest PG13.

The Kitchen Witches

By Caroline Smith

Isobel Lomax and Dolly Biddle are two "mature" cable-access cooking show hostesses who have hated each other for 30 years, ever since Larry Biddle dated one and married the other. When circumstances put them together on a TV show called The Kitchen Witches, the insults are flung harder than the food! Dolly's long-suffering TV-producer son Stephen tries to keep them on track, but it's a losing battle. Here is a show thats sure to please even the fussiest palate!
